### [CVE-2024-7135](https://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2024-7135) ![](https://img.shields.io/static/v1?label=Product&message=Tainacan&color=blue) ![](https://img.shields.io/static/v1?label=Version&message=*%3C%3D%200.21.7%20&color=brighgreen) ![](https://img.shields.io/static/v1?label=Vulnerability&message=CWE-862%20Missing%20Authorization&color=brighgreen) ### Description The Tainacan plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized access of data due to a missing capability check on the 'get_file' function in all versions up to, and including, 0.21.7. The function is also vulnerable to directory traversal. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information. ### POC #### Reference No PoCs from references. #### Github - https://github.com/12442RF/POC - https://github.com/DMW11525708/wiki - https://github.com/Lern0n/Lernon-POC - https://github.com/Linxloop/fork_POC - https://github.com/Nxploited/CVE-2024-7135 - https://github.com/RandomRobbieBF/CVE-2024-7135 - https://github.com/adysec/POC - https://github.com/eeeeeeeeee-code/POC - https://github.com/greenberglinken/2023hvv_1 - https://github.com/iemotion/POC - https://github.com/laoa1573/wy876 - https://github.com/oLy0/Vulnerability - https://github.com/plbplbp/loudong001
