In March 2023 the CVE Program adopted a new official CVE Record Format (CVE Record Version 5.x which is defined [here](https://github.com/CVEProject/cve-schema) ) to advance automation and vulnerability information enrichment for the global vulnerability management ecosystem. In June 2023, [the AWG Git Submission Pilot (hosted in this repository) was deprecated](https://github.com/CVEProject/cvelist/discussions/8938). Although the CVE Record Git Submission capability was deprecated, this repository was maintained with updated CVE Information drawn from the official CVE List (and presented in CVE Record Version 4 format). After 5/30/2025, this repository will no longer be maintained. The [official CVE List](https://github.com/CVEProject/cvelistV5) will be the only location that will be maintained by the CVE Program.
